10 Best New Releases On Pokémon Center (April 2025): Tins, Deck Boxes, Playmats, Sleeves, & More

Pokémon fans now have even more ways to show their love for the franchise, thanks to a massive merch drop from the Pokémon Company. Besides making beloved games, the company also frequently releases merch, decor, and seasonal sets for fans depicting all 1000+ Pokémon from the franchise.

The Pokémon Center website recently released a massive collection of new merch for fans to fill their homes with familiar faces from the franchise. Also represented are the Pokémon Trading Card Game (though many of the items related to the TCG have already, sadly, sold out) and a cool collaboration with a well-known brand. From cute pins and plushies to clothing and decor, this merch update has something for everyone.

10 Fidough & Dachsbun Die-Cut Playmat

Adorable Playmat Design In A Unique Shape

The Pokémon TCG has a plethora of playmats for players to express themselves as they play, with different mats depicting various Pokémon. Usually, these playmats are a standard rectangular shape to accommodate the cards in play during battles. Instead, the Fidough & Dachsbun Die-Cut Playmat has a unique shape cut around the artwork on it.

The Gardevoir Pokémon plush announced for Japanese audiences has made it onto American shores as the merch becomes available for repurchase in the US.

Priced at $29.99, the playmat features the darling fairy puppy Fidough and its evolution, Dachsbun, snuggling together against a starry pink background. Instead of framing these gen-9 characters in the standard rectangle, the playmat is cut in a flowing, wavy design that winds around the outline of its illustration. As with all Pokémon Center playmats, this one has a grippy backing to keep everything secure.

9 Ho-Oh Pokémon Fleece Zip-Up Hooded Jacket

Comfy And Stylish Way To Show Your Love For The Legendary

According to the Ho-Oh Pokémon Fleece Zip-Up Hooded Jacket listing, this is technically a men's jacket, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by all genders. It can certainly look good on anyone, with a design that features the colors of the legendary Pokémon Ho-oh without being too in-your-face about it being Pokémon merch. The $89.99 fleece jacket has a cozy hood and a striking design that looks like shifting sands.

The Ho-Oh hoodie is one of the many new clothing options for Pokémon fans, with Eevee and its evolutions featured heavily, thanks to the Year of Eevee initiative. The clothing line includes bomber jackets, retro-styled and color-blocked t-shirts, and cute bucket hats. Thanks to the new clothing line, Pokémon fans can show off their favorite Eeveelutions by wearing a shirt styled around their colors and designs.

8 Ogerpon Pokémon Pins (4-Pack)

All Four Ogerpon Mask Forms Included

One of the staple merch options on the Pokémon Center website is the humble pin. These small and simple accessories can be used to decorate a bag, hat, or pretty much any other article of clothing. This particular set features the legendary Ogerpon, introduced in The Teal Mask DLC to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which changes forms depending on the mask it's wearing.

Not sure which form is your favorite? This Ogerpon Pokémon Pins collection has all four versions of the masked character: Grass-type, Grass- and Water-type, Grass- and Fire-type, and Grass- and Rock-type. The set costs $24.99, which is a great deal since pins typically cost $9.99-$14.99 on the website. Every pin has two rubber Pikachu-shaped backings to keep the pin firmly secured where you want it to be.

7 Scarlet & Violet-Destined Rivals Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box

The Newest Pokémon TCG Card Set (Sold Out!)

The latest Pokémon TCG set, Destined Rivals, will be released on May 30, but preorders have already started. Fortunately, an early preorder means that fans have a better chance to get the upcoming set. Unfortunately, the Scarlet & Violet-Destined Rivals Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box and all the other Destined Rivals listings sold out almost as soon as they were listed.

Pokémon Plushies Are Not Safe From Scalpers, As The Pokémon Center Issues Refunds Without Warning

Mass cancelations are hitting the Pokémon Center online store and fans are blaming scalpers and bots for driving up demand with automatic sales.

The Destined Rivals set will feature Team Rocket and other nemesis from the history of the Pokémon franchise. Beloved characters will be making a comeback in this nostalgic set, with highlight cards including Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Ethan's Ho-Oh ex, and Cynthia's Garchomp ex. Although the upcoming Pokémon TCG set likely won't be as insanely popular as the notorious Prismatic Evolutions set, which suffered from shortages due to scalpers and popular demand, it's still selling out quickly. Keep an eye out on the Pokémon Center website for potential restocks of this popular item.

6 Pokémon TCG Stacking Tins

Stylish Stackable Tins For All Your Pokémon Cards (Sold Out!)

Three versions of Pokémon TCG Stacking Tins were made available as part of the large merch stock: Treasures of Ruin, Paradox Pokémon, and Ogerpon. These collectible sturdy containers were designed to be stackable, making it easy to store and display the awesome artwork depicted on them.

At the time of this writing, all three tin designs are sold out. New tins are introduced regularly, but once they sell out they're unlikely to be restocked, making it difficult to get once they're no longer available online.

Each design is priced at $14.99 and includes two sticker packs and three Pokémon TCG booster packs from the Surging Sparks,Temporal Forces, and Stellar Crown sets from the Scarlet & Violet line of cards. Although they're not available for purchase at the moment, the three tins feature artwork from the latest game duo and its DLCs.

5 Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix Parallel Pairs Two-Plush Key Chain

This Adorable Duo Makes The Perfect Gift

Some of the cutest Pokémon plushies are the cute little keychains, which make up for their small size with detailed features and adorable designs. The latest line of tiny plushes includes not one but two keychains each, making it the perfect gift for friends and couples. The Parallel Pairs keychains include two related Pokémon for $29.99, featuring beloved characters and their regional variants.

Pokémon TCG Reveals Team Rocket's Moltres ex, With a Devastating New Kind of Move

Pokémon Trading Card Game just introduced its most disruptive new Team Rocket card yet, with Moltres doing something not recently seen in the game.

One of the cutest Parallel Pairs groupings is the Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix Two-Plush Key Chain, which includes the fiery orange Vulpix and its snow-white icy Alolan variation. Other pairings in this merch line are Zorua and Hisuian Zorua, Zigzagoon and Galarian Zigzagoon, Quagsire and Clodsire, Goodra and Hisuian Goodra, and Raichu and Alolan Raichu (the latter is sold out as of this writing. The gen-1 Vulpix pair is particularly charming, through, depicting the duo with large eyes and fluffy manes.

4 Morpeko Full Belly And Hangry Mode Sculpted Mug

A Very Relatable Mood Shift

Pokémon fans may not agree on the best design in the game, but I think we can all agree that the gen-8 Morpeko is the most relatable Pokémon in the game. The small electric mouse Pokémon, introduced in Pokémon Sword & Shield, looks cute and friendly when it's well-fed but turns into a grumpy dark-type when it's hungry.

"You won't miss this one when looking through your kitchen cabinets!"

The newest merch collection includes several mugs, but the two depicting Morpeko might just be the cutest and most fitting for a food-related item. The two mugs, which are $24.99 each, both take the shape of the critter, and each shows a different form of the Pokémon: the Full Belly mode and the Hangry mode. Although the Full Belly variant is adorable, it's the hangry one that demands attention with its cute grumpy expression. The listing for the mug promises, "You won't miss this one when looking through your kitchen cabinets!"

3 Tatsugiri Double Deck Box, Card Sleeves, And Playmat

A Special Focus On the Small Fishy Dragon Pokémon

Long-time Pokémon fans know that just because a Pokémon looks like a weak fish (like Magikarp) doesn't mean it doesn't hold the potential to become a great and mighty dragon (like Gyarados). The Tatsugiri is a weak-looking fish like Magikarp, but unlike the dopey goldfish from gen 1, the latest-gen Tatsugiri doesn't evolve. Instead, the sashimi-looking creature is the dragon, and it uses the fact that it looks weak and defenseless to its advantage.

The Pokémon has become especially beloved in the TCG, with the Tatsugiri ex from the recent Surging Sparks set quickly becoming a fan favorite. It's fitting, then, that the Pokémon is featured in some of the recent TCG accessories, including card sleeves, double-deck card box, and playmat. The bright and colorful artwork is a great addition to any fan of the dragon Pokémon that's cleverly disguised as an unassuming fish.

2 Pikachu & Meowth Day Office Backpack

Classic Black And White Design From The Pokémon x Eastpack Collaboration

As part of its recent merchandise release,Pokémon has partnered with the Boston-based backpack company Eastpak to create some awesome backpack designs. As part of the collab, you can show off your love for Fire-, Water-, or Grass-types, or the iconic Eevee. There's even a small shoulder purse shaped like a Poké Ball, for a bold statement of your fandom.

For more everyday uses, though, you can't go wrong with the classic Pokémon x Eastpak Pikachu And Meowth Day Office Backpack. This black and white design is more subdued, looking stylish with boxes of white lineart depicting PIkachu and Meowth. The officially licensed $80.00 backpack will look right at home in any occasion, making it a great choice for daily wear. If you opt for this Eastpak backpack, don't forget to pick up the matching Pikachu And Meowth Oval Pencil Case.

1 Mythical Mew Damage-Counter Dice & Condition Markers Set, Deck Box, Playmat, And Card Sleeves

Classic Mew In Retro Pink And Purple

The original legendary psychic Pokémon Mew might look like an adorable alien-cat hybrid, but it's actually a powerful Psychic-type Pokémon. The character has been an integral part of the franchise since the very first generation. Mew makes a comeback in the Mythical Mew line added to the Pokémon Center with the latest merch, which features the character frolicking against a bubblegum pink background.

The available merch featuring the Mythical Mew designs include damage counter dice and condition markers, deck box, playmat, and card sleeves. The scenes feature abstract swirls reminiscent of retro designs and a happy and playful version of Mew that shows off the character's personality. The Mythical Mew line of Pokèmon merch is one of the awesome new additions to the Pokémon Center that's available to purchase right now (while supplies last).
