10 Most Bitter Exes In The 90 Day Fiancé Franchise (Their On & Off-Screen Drama Has Caused Bad Blood)
90 Day Fiancé is a franchise about couples in love, but oftentimes, it’s the lovers turned enemies that make the shows so much more watchable. The premise of 90 Day Fiancé has always been about the K-1 visa and couples documenting their journey before and after they apply for the same so the international partners can move to America. Over time, several other kinds of relationships have been documented for the franchise with the introduction of new spin-offs. These can have 90 Day Fiancé couples that split even before a K-1 visa is involved.
No matter how long a pair has dated, people can change and learn to see others differently. It’s when they break up that they notice the red flags and the flaws. This hate often makes its way to the screens if the couple is still a part of the show after their split, but more often than not, these 90 Day Fiancé cast members love airing their dirty laundry on social media. We look at some of the most resentful exes the franchise has seen so far who aren’t afraid of calling their former lovers out despite their lovely pasts.
10 Veah Netherton & Sunny Mahdi
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 7
Veah and Sunny were a happy twosome in the finale after the Muslim man went against his father’s wishes to propose to Veah, and she started planning his K-1 visa process. In the Tell All, they revealed they had split after Veah came home from South Africa and that during this breakup, she went on a date to Disney with her dogsitter even though they didn’t kiss. Sunny and Veah said they got back together after this brief split. Veah even planned to visit Sunny and his family in Bangladesh.
However, after the Tell All, Veah confirmed she was married to the dogsitter. The date on the marriage license showed she was married even before filming the Tell All. Sunny accused Veah of keeping him in the dark. She claimed Sunny bought the ring with her money. Sunny accused Veah of taking money from him for his K-1 visa and never returning it. Moreover, when Veah shared that she had a brain tumor which had led to her recent weight loss, Sunny implied she was lying to trick fans into giving her money.
9 Gino Palazzolo & Jasmine Pineda
90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2
Gino and Jasmine’s split has not yet been confirmed on Last Resort but their online war of words pretty much spoils their storyline. Jasmine is known to throw shade at Gino and make humiliating remarks about his sex drive or appearance, such as his bald head, both on TV and social media. When Jasmine tried to seek sympathy on the show by claiming Gino was refusing to show intimacy towards her, Gino claimed it was because of her constant fights and insults. Meanwhile, Jasmine teamed up with a woman Gino dated, named Kelly, and exposed him for being a cheater.
Now that Jasmine has revealed she’s pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby, she still insists she’s together with Gino and is in an open relationship. However, Gino, who his friends like Josh Weinstein, suggest is heartbroken because Jasmine allegedly cheated on him with Matt Branis, is keeping quiet. Gino probably doesn’t want to ruin his reality TV career by revealing the truth about his relationship status with Jasmine. He’s letting her have her 15 minutes of fame because there have also been allegations of Jasmine being hurt by her boyfriend and her wanting to leave.
8 Angela Deem & Michael Ilesanmi
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?
Angela never let Michael have social media accounts when they were together. Perhaps she expected him to be as passive-aggressive with his posts as she has always been. Ever since their split after Michael escaped from her home in Georgia in February 2024, Angela and Michael have both been throwing shade at each other on Instagram. They don’t seem to be bothered that their matter is in court, and it’s best if they stay mum on the topic. However, Angela and Michael have been engaged in a constant war of words.

Angela has been regretting ever getting Michael to America while he's posting about his “new family,” AKA his close group of friends that Angela hates. Angela’s house was in a mess when she brought Michael home, so he often films himself dancing in his spotless Texas apartment. Angela has reportedly gone broke from spending money on the annulment case against Michael. Meanwhile, Michael has been appointed by Meta as an influencer, and recently sent him their Ray Ban Meta smart glasses.
7 Baby Girl Lisa Hamme & Usman "Sojaboy" Umar
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 4
Lisa “Baby Girl” Hamme and Nigerian man Usman “Sojaboy” Umar had split even before their season of Before the 90 Days ended. Lisa had met Usman on social media and grew increasingly jealous of him due to his superstar status and female fan following. Their cultural issues, age gap, and jealousy eventually led to Usman and Lisa’s split. Lisa accused Usman of cheating on her. She claimed that Usman used her to come on the show. As per Lisa, Usman wanted to promote his music on 90 Day Fiancé.
Usman was labeled as the “Yahoo Boy” of the franchise. Lisa’s friend Angela accused Usman of giving a bad name to Nigerians. She believed it was because of Usman that Michael’s visa was not approved. The same Lisa, who once had a song dedicated to her by her musician husband, now leaves no stone unturned to taunt him on social media, even though they split five years ago. Perhaps Lisa holds Usman accountable for her being made to leave the franchise for using a slur against him on camera while got to romance Kim Menzies on two new shows.
6 Paul Staehle & Karine Martins
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 5
Paul and Karine have had one of the most complicated and confusing relationships in the franchise. Paul already had a criminal history, while Karine allegedly got physical with Paul in front of their children, leading them to split and lose custody of Pierre and Ethan. Paul has been living in Brazil and romancing teenage women while Karine is in the U.S. and has been linked to controversial Bachelorette alum Josh Seiter. Paul and Karine aren’t a part of the show anymore and their frequency of using Instagram has declined.
However, every once in a while, they will create drama on social media to get attention. Karine had suggested Paul had died when he had allegedly been missing in the Amazon jungle. He continued posting test results of Karine to reveal whether she has STDs while claiming that she’s married and is having babies with unknown men. Karine responds by claiming what Paul posts are lies, and it looks like Karine’s account is also operated by Paul himself. Despite their split, he insists they are still together even though he says she has a new boyfriend.
5 Big Ed Brown & Liz Woods
90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 8
Big Ed broke Liz’s heart when he canceled their wedding even though it was their 15th split. Liz begged for him to take her back, and she eventually found her new lover in Jayson Zuniga. The show was yet to confirm her split with Big Ed when Liz started posting about Jayson while cropping his face to conceal his identity. Liz kept talking about how Jayson was treating her right and even showing her mom respect. These were jabs at Big Ed, who eventually got engaged to a fan on a whim after knowing her for only 24 hours.
This is the longest that Big Ed and Liz have been apart from each other after a split, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be getting back together this time around. Liz recently teamed up with Big Ed’s other ex from the franchise, Rose Vega, to promote the latter’s skincare product line. These two women joining hands looked like a direct dig at Big Ed. In his usual fashion, Big Ed has not addressed this unlikely friendship on social media but might be planning something big to take them down.
4 Sophie Sierra & Rob Warne
90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2
Sophie and Rob had gotten married and were already separated for a few months when they were introduced on 90 Day Fiancé season 10. Sophie had walked out of the marriage after finding out about the extent of Rob’s online cheating. However, now that their relationship will end for good after their last try to fix it on The Last Resort, Sophie is claiming she left Rob because he was allegedly abusive. Sophie posted a picture of her bruised eyebrow, claiming it happened because of Rob. She’s also alleged that Rob is aggressive.
Rob tries to maintain his innocence on social media without lashing out at Sophie. She seems to have moved on with a new boyfriend, but her posts about the mystery man seem to be salt to Rob’s wounds. Sophie has been indirectly bragging about how well her new man is treating her when Rob was financially unstable and was being unfaithful behind her back. The Rob and Sophie bickering might continue on Instagram for a while until their ongoing season ends.
3 Scott Wern & Lidia Morales
90 Day Fiancé: Love In Paradise Season 3
Scott and Lidia were a surprise pairing on 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise. No one expected Pedro Jimeno’s mother to have her own romantic storyline on the show, especially after her son’s own storyline had ended in divorce. Scott, who bragged about only having dated younger girls had surprised himself by choosing to date Lidia and go from Florida to meet her in the Dominican Republic. However, the real issue in the couple’s relationship was their language barrier.
Scott never understood Lidia and she didn’t know enough English. He broke Lidia’s heart and left her for a younger ex. However, when Liz dumped Scott, he came crawling back to Lidia. The attorney has since been focusing on loving herself. Self-love is the best revenge and Lidia has been focused on working out and building her strength. Meanwhile, Scott has tried to flirt with several women in the franchise. He formed a friendship with Angela, but even that has seemingly turned sour now.
2 Memphis Smith & Hamza Moknii
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 5
Single mom Memphis and Hamza from Tunisia had dated for only eight months before the Michigan woman went to meet him in person. Memphis had decided that she needed Hamza to join her quickly in the U.S. and got married to him on the trip without discussing any pre-nup. This couple also could barely speak each other’s languages, and Hamza had lied to Memphis about his age as he was younger. He also felt jealous of Memphis and her ex-husband’s close friendship. He accused her of cheating and yet, Memphis married him and got pregnant on the same trip.
Memphis didn’t realize the big mistake she made until Hamza showed up in America and left her in a few months. He first claimed the baby wasn’t his and then fought for her custody. Memphis and Hamza aired their split drama on social media for all to see with cryptic posts. She also spoke about bringing awareness to immigration fraud until she deleted her own account while Hamza kept trying to make it big as a model in America.
1 Nikki Exotika & Igor "Justin" Shutencov
90 Day Fiancé Season 10
Nikki had known Igor AKA Justin for nearly two decades. Nikki and Justin embarked on the K-1 visa before appearing on 90 Day Fiancé, but Justin went home to Moldova after he found out Nikki was trans. Justin claimed to have been depressed after the revelation, but they decided to give their relationship another try years later. However, while Nikki was attempting to get Justin to the U.S. again on a fiancé visa and also supporting him financially, he wasn’t being faithful to her.
Nikki was dumped by Justin over text in the finale. It broke her heart, yet she went to meet him in Moldova. Nikki realized she’d made a mistake because they split up for good in the 90 Day Fiancé Tell All. Justin struggled to accept Nikki’s identity as a transgender. He said Nikki gave him “man vibes.” Their renewed two-year relationship also didn’t last, with Nikki supposedly canceling Justin’s K-1 visa this time around since he is still in Moldova.
