90 Day Fiancé’s Angela Deem's New Reality TV Show Debut Sparks Outrage After Rumors She’s Been Fired Amid Michael’s Legal Battle
Angela Deem is back to reality TV after rumors she got fired from 90 Day Fiancé following her split with Michael Ilesanmi. Angela landed her first reality TV stint after meeting Michael. Angela and Michael appeared in Before the 90 Days season 2. Angela and Michael’s long-distance relationship was full of obstacles due to their personalities and circumstances. Angela had anger issues while Michael was cheating and lying to her. Michael also faced visa issues, but he finally got to come to the U.S. in December 2023. Angela spoiled her storyline when she declared Michael was missing in February 2024.
Angela had tasted reality TV fame when she appeared in shows like Maury and Trisha before 90 Day Fiancé.
OfficialMauryShow on Instagram posted a Reel revealing Angela was back on the show for what looks like a special episode. The video captioned, “A little dating advice from the Queen @deemangela #maury #reality #tvshow #drama” shows Maury Povich asking her how her love life is going. Maury wants to know if it's because men don’t understand Angela. “I think I intimidate them,” she replies. Mary calls Angela the “expert” of love and relationships and asks her to give him one good idea “about having a romantic relationship.” Angela’s response is shocking.
“The most important thing I wanna tell my queens is ‘run.’”
While Angela was trying to be funny in the video, the comments were all from upset fans who wondered why Maury invited the controversy queen on the show. jdoble.u wrote, “Maury. Idk about this, Maury.” the.bikinichefbackupposted, “She’s a full on abuser, no advice needs to be given or taken from her.” nse_ekene commented “Noooooo Maury, not meemaw the train wreck.”
What Angela's Maury Comeback Means For Her 90 Day Fiancé Future
Has Angela Really Said Goodbye To 90 Day Fiancé?
Maury ended in 2022 after more than 30 years on the air. Povich has said that he's done with television. In 2025, Maury has started a new series called Maury’s Most Memorable Guests: Where Are They Now? Where Angela was the first guest on the show. Angela met Maury after nine years as the show looked back at Angela’s iconic moments. Angela had featured with her daughter Scottie Deem who later ended up going to prison when she was arrested for 13 counts of child abuse. Angela called herself the queen of reality TV.
However, rumors are rampant that Angela will never return to 90 Day Fiancé after her split with Michael. Angela’s storyline with Michael on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 was cut short. She has removed the show’s name from her Instagram bio. Angela has declared she wants to go to Hollywood. She could be thinking that her being invited as an esteemed guest on Maury is her first step to stardom outside of 90 Day Fiancé. Angela was recently seen on a different talk show, The Drew Barrymore Show where Drew also faced backlash for inviting Angela.
