In early 2024, they decided to expand their family, and Annie underwent an IVF procedure to conceive a baby. The couple announced their pregnancy in July 2024, and in December 2024, David and Annie relocated to Thailand so their daughter could have dual citizenship.

He revealed that Annie was wearing a small emblem on the safety pin to guard against "evil spirits."

Protection is likely a part of her Thai culture, so it makes sense for her to use it to guard herself and her unborn daughter now that she's in Thailand.
