Adorable Pikachu Plush Gives Fans The Business As Pikachu Fills In For Its Irresponsible Owner

The Pokémon Center has just released a new Pikachu plushie, showing off the beloved character dressed in a business suit. With a lot of new stuffed Pokémon coming to the store, players can get their hands on many of their favorite characters in plush form. From new additions for Meowth, Snorlax and more, there's always a cute new teddy that fans can add to their collection.

As part of the Pokémon Center's Pikachu Celebrations collection that sees the character dressed up to celebrate many of the year's seasonal events, this new Pokémon Center plush highlights the start of the academic and fiscal year. With Pikachu dressed head-to-toe in a suit and tie, briefcase and glasses, he looks as professional as ever. The release also comes with a small story snippet, explaining how the little guy is going to work on behalf of their trainer that's overslept.

This Business Pikachu Isn't Messing Around

With its original release in April, which is known to be the month of new beginnings in Japan, this new Pikachu plushie isn't just adorable but also quite motivational. As an ode to many new college graduates starting new jobs and dressing up in their new business attire, this Intern Pikachu is actually a reality for many. With a suave blazer, a briefcase adorned with a Poké Ball icon, a smart shirt and tie and glasses to match, it's hard not to take Pikachu very seriously in his new role.

The cute story it's paired with is just as sweet, showing how Pikachu has stepped in to cover for their trainer that stayed up too late the night before.As they're too exhausted to get out of bed, Pikachu steps in to save the day, working as an intern to get the job done. Coming off the heels of an adorable Christmas Pikachu plush, the Pokémon Center have clearly been busy showing off this fan-favorite character in a handful of ways.

There Are Plenty More New Plushies To Choose From

Players Can Pick Up Their Favorite Characters

This sweet Pikachu addition isn't the only new Pokémon Center plush to be added recently, with plenty of other cute, epic, and even a few nightmarish Pokémon characters getting new variations too. From a stretched-out Meowth teddy, to an eerie Corviknight, there's a great mix of popular characters and more unique ones too. Of course, there's also a sleepy Snorlax, with his belly adorned in grass, flowers, and a tree for a cute natural feel.

That's not all either, with a recent restocking of some equally loved plushies like nearly all the Eevee evolutions. As 2025 has been marked as the Year Of Eevee, it's nice to see this fan-favorite character getting some extra love and attention. With so many Pokémon to pick up, players should keep a close eye on the Pokémon Center as the store only continue to surprise.
