Allied Health Bars In Marvel Rivals Can Be A Game Changer, And Most Don't Know They Exist

There is a feature in Marvel Rivalsthat can help both tanks and healers keep tabs on their teammate's health, but most players don't know "Allied Health Bars" exist. Marvel Rivals has several helpful in-game features and options to both customize each hero's screen and make the game easier for those who might be struggling. The "Allied Health Bar" feature allows players to see their teammate's health bars in real-time, making it easier to know when to throw a heal or when to head to the backline to protect those throwing said heals.

Several Reddit threads have surfaced showcasing this feature, and many of the comments are the same; players did not know this was an option. While the option is automatically toggled on for Strategists, it is not for Vanguards or Duelists, who might also need to be able to see their allies' health to ensure they can protect them before they die to an Iron Fist pummeling the backline.

Allied Health Bars Can Help A Lot In Marvel Rivals

Keeping Track Of Health Is Not Just For Support Heroes

The Allied Health Bar option has been a hot topic on Reddit as of late, and user vburnin8tor posted a screenshot of the settings to showcase the feature. This setting will be turned on automatically for all Strategist heroes, but to have Allied Health Bars on, say, Venom or Iron Man, players will need to toggle them on manually per hero or use the "All Heroes" option within the menu. The option can be found inside of Settings, then by selecting Keyboard, then Combat. It is within the "HERO" tab right below the "HUD" that contains the reticle settings.

Any leg up within Marvel Rivals can make a world of difference, and the ability to see a teammate's health during a match can help players pivot and change tactics to save their friends. In the comments of the Reddit thread, the original poster vburnin8tor states, "Knowing that your teammate are low on HP before the 'CRITICAL!' notification & confirming that you are actually healing makes your role so much easier." Other comments mention that Magneto players can use this to determine who to put a shield on during a heated battle. This is just one of many of the in-game features that can help players keep all their ducks in a row during matches.

Small Features In Marvel Rivals Make A World Of Difference

Built-In Settings Can Help Make A Hero Easier To Play

While Allied Health Bars help players see their teammate's health, other features can make the title a lot easier for those who have never played a game like this before. Venom has options to make his swing easier to use by automatically targeting a "grabbable" area the player is looking at. Captain America has the option to always be running after hitting the shift key on PC once, rather than holding it down while wanting to run and leap into the opposition's backline.

Players should take a look at the settings menu and familiarize themselves with the different options available, as they may be able to help down the line. There are small things that make a big difference in Marvel Rivals and the ability to see health bars is just one of many.
