MANILA – Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA)-Epson Tour campaigner Dottie Ardina will banner the local bets in the ICTSI Worldwide Link Philippine Ladies Masters scheduled from Feb. 12 to 14 at The Country Club in Laguna.

Ardina is currently No. 127 in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings.

Also competing are Pauline del Rosario, Princess Superal, Harmie Constantino, Daniella Uy, Chanelle Avaricio and Mikha Fortuna.

The locals will be up against 50 standout players each from the Korean LPGA Dream Tour and the LPGA of Taiwan in the prestigious 54-hole competition offering a total of USD200,000 in cash prizes.

The course layout is known for its unforgiving challenges, even for seasoned players familiar with its contours and shifting conditions.

The tournament is the first-ever KLPGA-sanctioned event in the Philippines, held in partnership with the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT) and the TLPGA.

Since its partnership with the TLPGA in 2015, the LPGT has steadily expanded its reach, culminating in the successful staging of LPGT tournaments in Taiwan from 2018 onwards. (PNA)
