Big Sur's Pacific Coast Highway to Reopen Ahead of Schedule

After last year’s massive landslide closed down the Pacific Coast Highway at Mud Creek in Big Sur, Caltrans officials thought it would take until September to restore the road. But the group is now on track to reopen the road by the end of July after building the new segment right on top of the landslide.
