Bike Share Program Pilot Comes to Cook County Forest Preserves

500 dockless bikes will make it easier for people to pull off a cruise in the woods.

Cook County Forest Preserves are testing a new dockless bike share program this summer: A fleet of 500 bikes is available for users to rent using an app, then return to designated bike hubs. The bikes are now available at North Branch Trail, Cermak Woods, Dan Ryan Woods Central, Whistler Woods, and Lansing Woods, with more to come.
