Black Clover Launches 2025 Comeback With Two Game-Changing Chapters: What You Need to Know

Black Clover's manga has seized the spotlight of the public lately, not only because it recently gave Yami one of the best transformations in the series, but also because of the incredible way it ties the story together and develops the different fights between the characters. Likewise, Black Clover's manga just released a new batch of chapters that mark the beginning of the decisive battle of the series, launching the final stretch of the story.
While the last chapters of the manga began the battle between Yami and Nacht against Morgen, who was resurrected by Lucius, Black Clover began 2025 all the way with the release of chapters 377 and 378, which start the long-awaited final battle between Asta and Yuno against Lucius, increasing the hype and fans' expectations about the impending end of the series.

The Long-Awaited Fight Appears to be Inclined Favorably Towards the Magic Knights
Black Clover chapter #377 shows an overview of the different Magic Knights fighting Lucius clones just as Adramelech watches in shock and wonders how they were able to defeat the Archangel Paladins and if this still falls into Lucius's plans. The focus switches to Asta and Yuno, who arrive before Lucius, who gives them an epic welcome (a clear homage to Aizen’s iconic panel in Bleach). Lucius blames Asta for being the flaw of the peaceful kingdom he wanted to create, and Yuno's refusal drives him to challenge them and claim that he will defeat them to achieve his ideal world.
The battle continues in Black Clover chapter #378, where Lucius is confronted by the restless attack of Asta’s antimagic that repels and obliterates everything and Yuno’s wind and star magic that has unlimited potential, wondering how these totally different powers work so well together. However, Lucius comes to realize that by surpassing each other, they have also made them overcome his prophecy, with the chapter ending just as Asta and Yuno strike the villain and apparently defeat him. However, this won’t prove to be so easy, as Black Clover is characterized by teasing a false sense of winning before the final villain’s power-up.

Asta and Yuno’s Final Battle Is Not Over Yet
According to a post on X by the user @WSJ_manga, the next issue of Jump GIGA, which corresponds to Spring 2025, will give Black Clover, along with the new chapters, the lead color page in commemoration of reaching "the climax of the current decisive battle." Even though this reveals that the conclusion of the manga is closer than ever, since it refers to the current fight and the next chapters marks the beginning of a new volume, it's safe to predict that there are still some months ahead before Black Clover ends.
Nevertheless, the current events of the manga are taking both Asta and Yuno to the next level with great displays of power, so Black Clover fans should confidently wait for the author to give an incredible culmination to this decisive battle.
