Chinese shares close higher on Monday
Chinese shares surged on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 8.06 percent, closing at 3,336.50.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 10.67 percent, closing at 10,529.76.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, surged 15.36 percent to 2,175.09 points.
