Chinese shares surge on Tuesday
Chinese shares surged on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 4.15 percent, closing at 2,863.13.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 4.36 percent, closing at 8,435.70.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, surged 5.54 percent to 1,615.32 points.
