However, it also suggests that Kwon's death has helped the tournament garner new media attention, which makes it bigger than ever and raises its stake to another level.
As the clip reaches its final moments, it is revealed that the narrator is Gunther Braun, the host of the international Sekai Taikai karate tournament. The trailer makes it evident that Gunther is addressing the All-Valley tournament committee, revealing his decision to continue the Sekai Taikai even after what happened in season 6 part 2's finale. While the video does not confirm whether fighters like Axel Kovacevic will return, it affirms that the Sekai Taikai is far from over, and Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence's students are working hard to make a name for themselves in the karate scene.

The Valley has had its share of karate drama in the past. However, the All-Valley tournament's board has always managed to ensure that none of that drama seeps into the venue of the local karate tournament. Cobra Kai characters like Terry Silver have also gotten away with bribing referees at the All Valley, but the local tournament has otherwise been free from all the chaos that ensued at the Sekai Taikai in Cobra Kai season 6's part 2.
Owing to this, it makes sense that Gunther Braun has approached the All Valley tournament's committee for help to ensure history does not repeat itself and no one else gets hurt at the tournament after Kwon's death. This could also mean that the tournament's final arc will unfold in the Valley itself and not in Barcelona in Cobra Kai season 6 part 3. A return to their home ground would inspire the Miyagi Do students to push themselves even harder and defy all odds stacked against them in the international tournament.
