The coldest spot in the Lower 48 last week just might have been the top of Mt. Washington, where -40-degree temperatures combined with 120-plus-mph winds yielded a “real feel” of -100 degrees. Intrepid travelers ventured up the mountain in SnowCoaches to experience the extreme chill.
