Colorado Springs Considers Paid Parking & Shuttle at Garden of the Gods

The city is weighing ways to deal with increasing visitation and congestion at the popular park.

After almost a year of study and listening sessions with stakeholders on the issue of crowding and traffic congestion at Garden of the Gods, a consultant has recommended adding a paid parking lot and then having visitors take a shuttle into the park during high season. The 400-space parking lot would be built in the Rock Ledge Ranch field.
