At 1,015 acres, this park is the largest in the Dallas metro area, and one of its most popular. “Don’t let that scare you,” says Judy Cato, dayhiking committee chair of the Dallas Sierra Club. Hiking the path on the shoreline while joggers, cyclists, and sailors all recreate creates and cool outdoor community. Circle the lake from the runner’s lot on West Lawther Drive.
