DC Star's Dream Marvel Role Would Be Perfect For Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 And The MCU's Future

A DC star has revealed his dream Marvel role, and it so happens that after Spider-Man 4 details were reported, the character could fit into that Marvel Cinematic Universe story. Tom Holland's Peter Parker has become one of the most popular live-action superheroes Marvel and DC have ever had. The MCU's Spider-Man movies have been incredibly successful, withSpider-Man: No Way Home almost breaking the $2 billion mark at the box office. That means Marvel and Sony fully intend to continue their partnership and bring Holland back for more adventures as Spider-Man.

The actor has also said that he wants to keep making many more movies as the hero, and 2026's Spider-Man 4 will be his next solo film. The MCU has added many stars in recent years, with the Multiverse Saga allowing Marvel to get creative with its casting decisions. That led to Henry Cavill, DC's former Superman, playing a Wolverine variant in Deadpool & Wolverine. Another DC actor has revealed his dream Marvel role, and just like the Superman star, there appears to be a way for him to join the MCU, and Spider-Man 4 could be perfect for it.

The Penguin’s Rhenzy Feliz Wants To Play Miles Morales

The Victor Aguilar Actors Was One Of The DC Series' Standouts

DC Studios might be focused on James Gunn's plans for the new DC Universe, but an Elseworlds franchise deserves as much attention from the audience. After director Matt Reeves' The Batman became a hit, DC decided to make a spinoff series. HBO's The Penguin has become one of the best live-action projects DC has ever had, which is why season 2 is currently in the early stages of development. The Penguin starred Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb, and alongside him was Rhenzy Feliz's Victor Aguilar, who had one of the show's best arcs.

Sadly, Oz kills Victor at the end of The Penguin, taking away the last person he loves and thus making him stronger, as his enemies can no longer use Victor against him. This leaves the door open for Feliz to take on another comic book role, and the actor has his sights on a Spider-Man. Speaking with Kristian Harloff, Feliz noted how much the animated Miles Morales from the Spider-Verse movies looked like him and that he would love to play the hero in future Marvel movies. However, it would have to be a "college-aged" Miles, as Feliz is 27.

Spider-Man 4 Reportedly Follows Peter Parker In College

Tom Holland's Peter Could Meet Miles Morales

At 27, Feliz is just a year younger than Peter Parker actor Tom Holland. While the story of Spider-Man 4 has yet to be officially revealed by Marvel Studios, some details have come out. In an intriguingSpider-Man 4 report, it was said that Holland's Peter Parker is likely to be in college in the film, as Marvel is looking to cast new classmates for Peter. At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter is almost done with high school, having a book in his small apartment that shows he has been studying to take the exams to graduate.

Based on how Holland wants to keep playing Spider-Man for a long time, a move to college would be perfect. Marvel could end up going for three trilogies with Holland as Peter Parker. The first one, the "Home" trilogy, was set in high school. Starting with Spider-Man 4, Peter's next movies could follow the character in college, which is where he first met classic Spidey players like Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy for the first time in the comics, before Holland's final MCU trilogy features Peter as an adult, akin to the ongoing Ultimate Spider-Man comics from Marvel.

Why An Older Miles Morales Could Work In The MCU

The MCU Can Do Something Fresh With The Hero

With a college storyline reportedly part of Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4, Rhenzy Feliz could get his dream Marvel role of playing Miles Morales, even if for a cameo initially. There are a few reasons why an older Miles could be the MCU's best choice for the character. Miles has become famous due to the animated Spider-Verse movies. In them, the character is in high school. By making Miles older and putting him in college in the MCU, Marvel would avoid retreading all the high school stories that have been done in the Spider-Verse films and Peter Parker's MCU movies.

An older Miles Morales could also allow the character to be a close friend of Holland's Peter Parker when he needs one the most. After Spider-Man: No Way Home, MJ and Ned do not know who Peter is. Without his girlfriend and best friend, Peter could meet the older Miles in college, and the two become inseparable. Miles could then be bitten by the spider that gives him his powers, with an experienced Peter now serving as the mentor of the MCU's second Spider-Man. This way, Rhenzy Feliz could play his Marvel dream role in Spider-Man 4 and beyond.
