Her groundbreaking work is expected to contribute significantly to advancements in surgical techniques and patient care in the field of hernia treatment.

Her presentation on “AI-Powered SSI Surveillance,” guided by Dr Ashvind Bawa, Professor of Surgery, won 1st Place, winning a prize of $1000 and free registration to the European Hernia Society Cadaver Lab next year. Moreover, senior resident Dr Tanveer Kaur presented her impactful research on AI in NPWT (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy) and Hernia Surgery, showcasing how artificial intelligence can enhance surgical outcomes.

Adding to the honors, Dr. Ashvind Bawa was invited to deliver three talks at the conference, sharing his insights on the evolving role of AI in surgery and healthcare. Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, Sh. Bipin Gupta said that "These achievements reflect our team's ongoing efforts to explore AI's role in surgery and enhance patient care at DMC&H.
