Warning: Contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima episode #18Dragon Ball Daima's latest episode features some of the best visuals and high-energy action the franchise has ever seen. After giving Vegeta some well-deserved time in the spotlight, Goku enters the fray and debuts the new-look Super Saiyan 4 in his adult form, stirring a frenzy in online discussions while granting the wishes of long-time Dragon Ball GT fans around the world. Not to be lost in all the fighting, however, is an extremely humorous exchange between Bulma and Vegeta that reminds fans why they're anime's best couple.
There are few power couples in anime and manga that can rival Bulma and Vegeta. The once-ruthless prince of Saiyans and the genius with an attitude have long been at the center of Dragon Ball, and the series has reminded fans time and again why they work so well together. Now, in Dragon Ball Daima's latest episode #19, "Betrayal", Bulma gives viewers insight into what makes Vegeta tick during what is arguably the anime's funniest moment yet. While fierce battles and over-the-top transformations have always defined the franchise, it's time fans started appreciating anime's best couple just a bit more.
Bulma Gets Through to Vegeta With a Humorous Threat
Dragon Ball's Best Couple Is at the Center of Daima's Funniest Moment Yet
Vegeta isn't exactly known for being easy-going. Famously stubborn and hot-headed, the prince showed no willingness to allow anyone to interfere in his fight with Gomah, despite very clearly being on the back foot. The rest of Earth's heroes, knowing he was in trouble, tried to convince him that it was time for Goku to step in and have his try at the evil ruler of the Demon Realm, but Vegeta just wasn't having it.
At the most dire moment, Bulma stepped in and immediately convinced her husband to stand down by hitting him right where it hurts, with a threat to no longer take baths with him. The moment was so unexpected and pulled off with such mastery that only Akira Toriyama, the gag manga artist himself, could have been behind it. What truly sells the joke is just how in character it is for Vegeta. From the moment he landed on Earth after the Namek Saga, he was weak to Bulma's wishes.
Bulma and Vegeta Have Always Been Dragon Ball's Best Couple
Vegeta Has Always Had Goku Beat in One Area
Much of Dragon Ball, especially in recent years, has been built on the contrast between Goku and Vegeta, and one of the more interesting differences between the two is family life. Goku, the always approachable, kind-hearted Saiyan who has made friends with just about everyone he's ever met, is rarely seen around Chi Chi and his sons. Vegeta, on the other hand, the proud warrior who lives for battle, is constantly seen putting his family first. The most famous example was his willingness to skip the Tournament of Power to ensure he didn't miss the birth of his daughter.

Dragon Ball Z: 10 Funniest Bulma Scenes
Bulma has been around since the beginning of Dragon Ball and has had plenty of hilarious moments that deserve to be remembered!
Bulma, while always supporting his desire to fight, has always known just what buttons to push in order to steer her often brash husband in the right direction, as seen in Dragon Ball Daima's latest episode. The fight is far from over, however, and it's likely the battle hasn't seen the last of Vegeta yet. The anime's finale is just ahead, and fans won't want to miss out on its climactic Super Saiyan 4 finish.
