Conor Merrigan Turner hails from Sydney, Australia, where he reportedly graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) (via PhotoBookMagazine). Being back home in Sydney, I was a house painter before this, in between jobs, painting houses from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. And then, next job I'm on, I'm working with Jake Lacy from The Office, a show I absolutely love. I've watched every season eight times. And then I get to work with him, and work with Sam, and Annette, and Essie, and Alison. It was mind-boggling, but they were so supportive. From day one, they welcomed me with open arms. It was just an absolute blessing, I thank my lucky stars."

Until this point, Turner had not been in much. He got his start in 2016, appearing as a background character in the Australian drama miniseries Tomorrow When the War Began. The show, based on the Tomorrow series by John Marsden, follows eight teenage friends who return to their homes after a camping trip to discover their country is at war.
