Fire Force Season 3 Drops Flashy New Trailer, Confirming the Anime's U.S. Return

With only a few months to go until the series' return, a new trailer forFire Forcehas been released, and it is everything fans wanted and more. While fans might have had concerns, the new trailer crushed worries about the anime and the studio's packed schedule, meaning fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

In an exclusive post by IGN Entertainment during the annual Fan Fest event, a first look into Fire Force season 3 has been released. Furthermore, it was also confirmed that season 3 of Fire Force would start broadcasting on April 4, 2025, and this would be the last season. The season will be split into two cours, with the second part airing in January 2026. The series is going to be the headliner for the spring 2025 anime season as it makes its long-awaited comeback, which is more than 6 years after the second season aired.

Season 3 Could Be The Best Season Yet

The final stretch of Fire Force that hasn't been adapted by the anime yet is widely praised as the series' best among fans. Season 3 will pick up where the second left off, covering the Ubi Rescue arc which is the series' sixteenth story arc. This is where the pay-off to the two seasons' worth of setup begins, as Company 8 are branded outlaws and Captain Obi has been kidnapped.

Taking the helm of the third season is Tatsuma Minamikawa, who was also the director of the second season. Hideyuki Morioka will be the character designer, returning to the role for the third time. Yumi Horikoshi will serve as the art director and Kenichiro Suehiro will be in charge of the music. The opening theme will be performed by Queen Bee, the artist behind ending songs for hit series like Chainsaw Man, Oshi No Ko, and more, and it will be titled "High Flame".

The Last Season Will Be One of the Highlights Of This Year

The Season Will Have The Peaks Of The Series

The trailer shows that the best and most anticipated moments will indeed be done justice by them, and hopefully make the half-decade wait worth it. The highlights of the trailer are Shinra and Joker taking on the mighty Burns, Burns bowing down to the White Clad and working for them, and all of Company 8 fighting Gold. There are other amazing moments that weren't shown in the trailer, but given how beautiful this first teaser looks, fans can expect that Fire Force's final season will go out with a bang.
