Floods and Mudflows Kill 13 in Montecito

Heavy rains on Tuesday triggered flooding, mudflows, and rolling debris in the Santa Barbara County’s Montecito and closed a number of roads. The flows killed at least 13 people, injured 25, and stranded hundreds. The area had recently been hit hard by the Thomas Fire.
