Microsoft has revealed that Forza Horizon 5 will still require a Microsoft account, even on the PlayStation console. For those who purchase the Premium edition, the title will become available on April 25, while Standard edition players must wait a few more days as it releases on April 29.

While there is no definitive proof that this step will kill game preservation, it is a step in the wrong direction, according to fans. Others appear to be less concerned, as a simple login doesn't hinder them from accessing one of their favorite titles.
