Genshin Impact 5.4 Leaks: Tower Event's Floor 24 Is Already Impossible For Regular Players
The leaked battle tower in Genshin Impact 5.4 is building up to be a promising activity, but a new leak has shown that floor 24, the final stage in the combat-centered event, will be impossible for most regular players. Version 5.4 is the next patch for HoYoverse’s action RPG. The update will steer away from the focus on Natlan as the final missions in the main story arc have been added with Version 5.3, the current patch which has also added Citlali and Mavuika. The next update is confirmed to add an Inazuman character called Yumemizuki Mizuki in Genshin Impact.
With the character’s release, players will return to the Nation of Electro for an event, which has been teased by leaks. Overall, the update is expected to be much smaller and have less content for players to explore over the course of six weeks compared to the previous patches since Version 5.0. However, players should still stay occupied with limited-time events, which should grant them various rewards. One of the leaked activities is the battle tower event in Genshin Impact 5.4, which should challenge players’ abilities to build strong team comps. However, maxing it out may not be for everyone.
Floor 24 Of Genshin Impact 5.4's Leaked Tower Event Has Been Leaked
The Enemies For Each Stage Have Been Detailed
While the individual stages that players will face had already been leaked, showing the effects that will be prioritized within each fight, the enemies had not been accurately described, but a new leak has now detailed each of them on floor 24, the rumored final part of the leaked battle tower event. The information was obtained by the leaker known as HomDGCat and shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit. The enemy of the first challenge will be two Eroding Avatars of Lava in Genshin Impact, which will take more damage from characters in the Nightsoul’s Blessing state.
The second fight will be against a Tainted Water-Splitting Phantasm and a Tainted Water-Spouting Phantasm. In contrast, the third fight should pit players against a Rimebiter Bathysmal Vishap and a Bolteater Bathysmal Vishap. The fourth battle should occur against a Frost Operative and a Wind Operative, while the fifth and final stage of floor 24 should host an Anemo Hilichurl Rogue and a Hydro Hilichurl Rogue. Each of these individual challenges will need to be completed within 30 seconds, and this may be one of the factors that impede regular players from completing the leaked event in Genshin Impact 5.4.
Enemies In The Final Stage Of Genshin Impact 5.4's Leaked Tower Event Have Too Much HP
The Opponents Have Over 10M HP & Need To Be Defeated Within 30 Seconds
The big issue with this rumored event is that the leaked enemies on floor 24 will be nearly impossible to defeat for players who don’t have top-tier team comps with characters who have unlocked several Constellation levels. The leak also shows the HP that each enemy has, and it’s a large sum. The Eroding Avatars of Lava are rumored to have 17,818,381 HP each, while the Hilichurl Rogues are said to have 13,920,611 HP. These large HP counts are not impossible to beat for regular players in Genshin Impact, but they may be unfeasible to clear within 30 seconds.
To be able to clear this amount of HP within the very limited time frame necessary for the floor’s completion, players will need to dispatch a nearly unprecedented level of damage output, which is simply capped when a character is at C0R1. Players who are F2P (free-to-play) will likely not have access to multiple 5-star characters with leveled Constellations and Refined signature weapons, which should drastically impact the amount of damage they deal to enemies, making the leaked floor 24 of the rumored battle tower event in Genshin Impact 5.4 an impossible feat.
The same can be said about casual players who often invest some money into the game but don’t unlock all Constellation and Refinement levels on their 5-star characters and weapons, respectively. As well-built as their characters may be, they may not meet the requirements to defeat each of the aforementioned stages in 30 seconds. This is worse considering the long animations for Elemental Bursts, which cut down players’ potential DPS. Unless they have heavy investments in all of their characters and weapons – players who are commonly referred to as “whales” in Genshin Impact – floor 24 will be impossible.
Commentators on the Reddit post about the leak joke that this feat is not even for whales, but “leviathans” in the game.
The leak about floor 24 gets even tougher when considering the damage bonuses that each stage has. The fight against the Phantasms, for example, benefits Melt, Vaporize, and Freeze reactions. As such, players need to have top-tier Pyro and Cryo characters, such as Mavuika, Arlecchino, and Wriothesley in Genshin Impact 5.4. This limits the possible team comps since the bonuses that are obtainable in this way are too large to ignore. Players without a 5-star Pyro character will likely have a harder time than usual getting past this stage, and a similar logic is applied across all floor 24 stages.
F2P & Casual Players Will Still Be Able To Obtain Rewards From Genshin Impact 5.4's Leaked Tower Event
Leaks Show Primogems Rewards Go Until Floor 19
Although it may be impossible to max out the rumored battle tower event due to the punitive circumstances applied to floor 24, F2P and casual players will likely not be locked out of the event’s main rewards. The previous leaks about the activity show that the rewards containing Primogems for each stage only go up to floor 19. As such, floors 20 through 24 are simply a means of allowing “whale” players to experience the highest level of combat difficulty for the pleasure of the challenge. Obtaining Primogems in Genshin Impact 5.4’s tower event may be possible for most players.
The details about floor 24 in the rumored battle tower event in Version 5.4 should be considered with caution, as the information may be incorrect, incomplete, or subject to change. Nevertheless, considering the previous rumors, it seems like the final stages of the event are designed for players with heavy investments in the game, but it should not impede regular players from claiming all the precious rewards since they are capped at floor 19, according to the leaks. Even with such a high level of challenge, this may be one of the best events in Genshin Impact as of late.
