Despite being only a handful of issues in, Absolute Batman has already introduced an impressive lineup of the Dark Knight’s most iconic villains to the Absolute Universe. Now, another addition to this alternate rogues’ gallery is on the horizon, as DC teases the arrival of Mr. Freeze in April.

Set for release on April 9, 2025, Absolute Batman #7 by Scott Snyder and guest artist Marcos Martín will introduce Victor Fries to the narrative. This exciting announcement comes as part of DC’s April solicitations, thrilling fans of the best-selling series, which recently earned the title of 2024’s best-selling comic with its debut issue.

According to the synopsis, issue #7 will explore the connections between “a young, up-and-coming scientist named Victor Fries, his history with the Ark M experiment, and what it all has to do with the mysterious Joker."
