Globalstar and IPmotion Launch Mobile Satellite Service in Japan

Globalstar, Inc. and IPmotion Inc. announced the formation of Globalstar Japan Inc. and the launch of commercial mobile satellite service at a press event in Tokyo. Globalstar Japan will offer a suite of mobile satellite products and services with voice, data, asset monitoring, tracking and emergency S.O.S. capabilities for the consumer, enterprise and government markets. Globalstar Japan will showcase these products and services at CEATEC Japan 2017, October 3-6 (booth # S051-02 in US Pavilion).

Globalstar Japan expects to receive type certification to sell its products in Japan in the coming weeks for the following products: Globalstar Satellite Phone 1700, Globalstar 2900, Globalstar SatFi, SmartOne B, SmartOne C, and SPOT Gen3 and SPOT Trace.
