Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Leaks: Tribbie's Materials Can Be Pre-Farmed
Pre-farming Tribbie’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail is an excellent idea for players who want to be able to nearly max out the character once they obtain her in Version 3.1, and most of the items can already be gathered. Tribbie is confirmed to be a 5-star Quantum character who follows the Path of the Harmony. Because of her alignment, it’s believed she will be a support character in team comps, providing buffs for allies. However, the first outline of Tribbie’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail has also pointed at the possibility of her being a secondary damage dealer.
According to the leaks, Tribbie will be capable of supporting allies with an All-Type RES PEN buff, but most of the time, she should be providing extra damage output based on her Max HP stat. Furthermore, she can enhance her Max HP based on a portion of the Max HP across all team members, which may make her even stronger as a potential sub-DPS. With leaks about Mydei’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail indicating he will have over 20,000 Max HP, she could be a great sub-DPS for him. However, before that happens, players will have to farm Tribbie’s materials.
All Of Tribbie’s Materials In Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 Have Leaked
Most Materials Are Already In The Game
Luckily, players may be able to anticipate a large part of that process because the materials used by Tribbie have leaked. All the materials consumed in Tribbie’s Ascension and Trace-leveling processes have been listed and divided per quantity on her dedicated page on Honey Hunter World. According to the leak, most of the materials that the 5-star Quantum character uses are already available for farming in the game, such as the enemy drops that also appear among Aglaea’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail. Considering there hasn’t been a leaked weekly boss for Version 3.1, Tribbie will use an older material.
As seen in the leak, it seems like only one type of material will not be pre-farmable ahead of Version 3.1. This material will likely only be obtainable after the release of Version 3.1, which should add the activity that drops it. Players who pre-farm Tribbie’s materials following the leaks could save a lot of time and effort; once they obtain her, they could possibly only need to farm one type of material, allowing them to get Tribbie to level 80 much quicker and max out her stats as soon as she hits the maximum level in Honkai: Star Rail.
How & Where To Pre-Farm Tribbie’s Materials Before Honkai: Star Rail 3.1
Several Activities Need To Be Done
The first set of Tribbie materials listed by the leak is somewhat exclusive to Amphoreus. Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest, and Glory-Aspersed Torso are enemy drops that can be obtained by defeating Titankin, the main type of enemy across the maps that compose Amphoreus. These items also drop from enemies in the Simulated Universe and some Fear-Stomped Flesh can be purchased from the Embers Exchange shop every month. While defeating Titankin enemies is the most straightforward method of obtaining these materials for Tribbie, they can also be claimed as rewards for Assignments in Honkai: Star Rail.
Fear-Stomped Flesh, Courage-Torn Chest, and Glory-Aspersed Torso are used for Tribbie’s Ascension as well as her Trace-leveling process, so players will need to continuously farm a large quantity of these. They should also remember to use the Omni-Synthesizer to transform three Fear-Stomped Flesh into one Courage-Torn Chest, and three Courage-Torn Chest into one Glory-Aspersed Torso so as to meet the numerical goals required for Tribbie’s complete upgrade in Honkai: Star Rail.
For her Ascension, Tribbie only consumes one other material type. Listed in the leak on Honey Hunter World, Darkveil Moonlight is a new Ascension material for Quantum characters that is being added to the game with Version 3.1. According to the leak, this item will obtained by defeating the Moonlit Pegasus opponent within a new Stagnant Shadow activity in Amphoreus. Because of this, it couldn’t be pre-farmed, but if players adequately pre-farm the rest and the leak proves to be correct, Darkveil Moonlight will be the only item that needs farming after the release of Honkai: Star Rail 3.1.
In addition to materials, per si, Tribbie will also consume 308,000 Credits to unlock all of her Ascension stages plus an extra 508,000 Credits to increase her level with Character EXP Materials. This is the standard cost for all 5-star units in the game, so it’s unlikely the leak is incorrect about this specific matter. Furthermore, 3,000,000 Credits are also used to enhance all of Tribbie’s abilities. The most reliable and direct way to obtain more Credits is to challenge Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures activities, though Credits are rewarded in most types of activities in Honkai: Star Rail.
The leak also shows that Tribbie’s materials include Firmament Note, Celestial Section, and Heavenly Melody, exclusive to Harmony characters. These three items, which are all part of the same family, can be farmed at the Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Harmony activity located in The Reverie (Dreamscape) map on Penacony. A large quantity of these are needed, so players may see themselves stuck farming for days on end before gathering all the required copies.
For reference, these are also listed as Robin’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail.
At higher Trace levels, Tribbie will also consume weekly boss materials and, according to the leak on Honey Hunter World, the item that players will need to farm for her is Lost Echo of the Shared Wish. These items can be obtained by beating the Harmonius Choir: The Great Septimus boss in the Echo of War: Salutations of Ashen Dreams activity located in the Penacony Grand Theater map.
Tribbie will also use Tracks of Destiny, which can be farmed once a week in the Simulated Universe, obtained from limited-time events and reputation systems, and purchased from the Embers Exchange and Starlight Exchange shops.
Only One Tribbie Material Can't Be Pre-Farmed Before Honkai: Star Rail 3.1
Players Could Gather The Unavailable Item On Version 3.1’s Release Day
With only one material reportedly not being available in the game before Version 3.1 and all the others ready for pre-farming, players could save a lot of time once they obtain the Quantum support from the banners. With the arrival of Version 3.1, players who adequately pre-farmed all of the listed materials (and if the leaks prove to be true), only Darkveil Moonlight may need to be farmed – and that can be done within a single day if players have a stock of Trailblaze Power in Honkai: Star Rail to burn on that day.
It’s uncertain exactly how Tribbie will operate based solely on leaks, especially because she is still subject to change during the beta tests. As such, because of her alignment with Harmony, players should consider her a support, but she could truly be a sub-DPS on top of her support role. Nevertheless, players will only unlock Tribbie’s true power once they fully Ascend her and increase her abilities’ levels, and that requires farming materials in Honkai: Star Rail.
