How To Get Shiny Enamorus & Shiny Manaphy In Pokémon HOME
You can now obtain a Shiny Enamorus and a Shiny Manaphy for free in Pokémon HOME, but there are some requirements to accomplish before obtaining these gifts. The distribution of free Shiny Legendary and Mythical Pokémon is not exactly new, but they tend to be rare. In fact, these limited events are often the only way of obtaining some of these Shiny creatures, as many of them are simply unobtainable without hacking the games. Enamorus, for example, is one of the many Shiny-locked Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Shiny Manaphy, on the other hand, was previously obtainable, but not intentionally. Manaphy Eggs could result in Shiny Manaphys if players traded the eggs before hatching, even if it was not Game Freak’s intention. Even so, outside this unexpected Shiny hunting Manaphy method, Manaphy was considered Shiny-locked for all intents and purposes. Now, the Water-type Mythical Pokémon is also being distributed to players as part of a special and ongoing event, but you need to fulfill some requirements first.
How To Get Shiny Enamorus
Obtaining The Creature In Pokémon HOME Requires Completion Of The Hisui Pokédex
In order to obtain Shiny Enamorus in Pokémon HOME, you will first need to complete the Hisui Pokédex in the storage app. Even if you have already completed the Hisui Pokédex in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, that will not count. Once all the creatures listed in the Hisui Pokédex have been registered in Pokémon HOME, you will then be able to claim Shiny Enamorus for free. To do this, you will have to complete the Pokédex and confirm the completion via the Games tab on your Pokémon HOME app.
If you’ve already done this before, you are still eligible for the reward. The Shiny Enamorus will be sent to your account via a Mystery Gift. It’s worth noting that your Pokémon HOME app must be connected to a Nintendo account. This special Shiny Enamorus reward will only be obtainable once per Nintendo account. After claiming the special Pokémon, you will be able to transfer the Shiny Enamorus to Pokémon Legends: Arceus or any other game that supports the Legendary creature.
How To Get Shiny Manaphy
Complete The Sinnoh Pokédex In Pokémon HOME
To obtain Shiny Manaphy, a similar procedure must be done, but it involves another Pokédex. If you want to claim Shiny Manaphy in Pokémon HOME, you will need to complete the Sinnoh Pokédex within the storage app. Like the previous reward, this one will not count if you’ve only completed the Sinnoh Pokédex within Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Instead, its completion will need to be confirmed in Pokémon HOME.
Once this is done, the Shiny Manaphy will be sent to your account via a Mystery Gift. As is the case, the Mystery Gift can only be claimed once per Nintendo account. Shiny Manaphy can then be transferred to your preferred games. The addition of Shiny Enamorus and Shiny Manaphy as rewards for Pokédex completion is part of the Version 3.2.2 update. Luckily, players don’t have a limited time window to obtain them – the Shiny Enamorus and Shiny Manaphy distribution in Pokémon HOME is permanent.
