Two Indiana hunters who illegally killed a black bear in Pitkin County in 2016 received a two-year ban on hunting and firearm possession this week. The father-son pair had a valid hunting license but shot the bear in an illegal area; they took the bear’s head and hide and left the rest of the carcass behind.
