I'm Convinced That Jordynne Grace Is The Future Face Of The WWE Women's Division
With WWE making history right now in terms of their overall success, one of the biggest benefactors has been NXT. The company's third brand has long been known for developing top-level talent. In recent months, it's also become a highly-entertaining weekly program, a rating beacon, and as important a cog in the machine as its 'big brothers', RAW and Smackdown.
As the developmental branch of the company, NXT has groomed some of pro wrestling's brightest stars. But a recent new addition could end up being a virtual aurora borealis in the WWE Universe. Jordynne Grace is officially under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, and there's plenty of reason to think she's going to make a huge impact (pun intended) on the women's division.
Grace, a former three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion, has already appeared in two Royal Rumble matches (in 2024 and 2025), and she had previously wrestled in NXT - thanks to a working agreement between the two promotions that has now developed into a full-time partnership. She shined in all her outings, drawing high praise from both fans and observers.
Now, she is 100% the sole property of World Wrestling Entertainment, and she's been given the opportunity of a lifetime. Athletic, experienced, and poised in the ring, Grace has plenty of attributes that make her a prime candidate to eventually become the top female star in WWE. However, she will have to contend in a stacked women's division that commentators rightfully describe as the best one in the business.
WWE Saw a Superstar in Jordynne Grace a Year Ago
Her 2024 Royal Rumble Appearance Was a Sign of Things to Come
Coming from a career in bodybuilding, after years as one of the top female stars in TNA, Grace began to go through a body transformation a few years ago. She began focusing on training for fitness over power. It drastically changed her look as well as her versatility in the ring. It also put her on WWE's radar. They saw an established performer still in their 20s who could go all the way to the moon if given a bigger platform.
That's what led to her first appearance at the 2024 Rumble, where she shocked the world by dominating the competition for several minutes. She came face-to-face with old rivals like Naomi, as well as potential new ones like Piper Niven. Most of all, she was able to showcase her skills as the crowd roared their approval. For Grace, a veteran of over 10 years in the ring, it was easily the biggest night of her career. A star was born.
There was more of the same this year, although her appearance at the event wasn't nearly as surprising. News of her signing had already made its way around the internet, but that still didn't affect the massive reaction. That's evidence that the audience has already been conditioned to react to Grace, which is half the battle when it comes to 'getting over' in the biggest pro wrestling company on the planet.
Grace's Arrival in WWE Has Been Booked Perfectly
Who Will She Challenge First in NXT?
Grace's two Rumble appearances only left the audience with an appetite for more. Her massive potential was fully on display, and the announcement that she finally was free to sign with WWE led many to believe it wouldn't be long before she would be a part of the main event mix in NXT. She was booked as such, being made to look strong in all her appearances - even though she was still technically with Total Non-Stop Action.
So, the audience already saw Grace as a star in their eyes, and expectations were high for her to make a stunning debut. Sure enough, she made her presence felt right away, walking out to confront both women's titleholders: NXT Women's Champion Giulia and NXT Women's North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.

Why WWE's Biggest New Signing Is On NXT & Not The Main Roster
It makes total sense why new WWE signee Jordynne Grace is on NXT instead of the main roster. Here's why.
Standing among the two champions to close NXT's recent Vengeance Day event, Jordynne Grace is clearly being positioned as an automatic superstar. While she has shown mutual respect to both Giulia and Vaquer thus far, that's not likely to last much longer. She'll be hunting for gold sooner rather than later.
What Does the Future Hold For the Pepper Pot of Power?
Grace Could be the Face That Runs the Place in the Women's Division
Grace has been one of pro wrestling's hottest commodities for years now. I can easily see her evolving into one of the company's household names for a long time to come. Having interviewed her multiple times while she worked for TNA Wrestling, she has always displayed a maturity and focus that is rare for young athletes, particularly those who find success at an early age like she did.
Very few times have we witnessed a performer enter WWE with this much momentum, and it's because the 28-year-old has put in the work and the dedication to become an elite star in professional wrestling. And we all know by now that Triple H knows what he's doing: if he has put so much stock in Grace's early appearances, it means he has big plans for her. Surely, it was odd to see Grace debut not on Raw or Smackdown but on NXT, but rather than a slight on her talents or preparedness this is proof that WWE's new management sees NXT truly as a third show, and wants to push its stock.
Sure, it seemed like Jade Cargill was being positioned as the 'next big thing' in the women's division, but now I don't think that's the case. Her prolonged absence from television has pushed the former AEW star to the side, while Jordynne has shined right off the bat. On top of that, Grace has much more polish in the ring and a more natural connection with the fans than Cargill.
If I could buy stock in pro wrestlers, I might just take out a second mortgage on my home to invest in Jordynne Grace. As this 'Pepper Pot of Power' advances through the ranks in WWE, her career is going to explode like fireworks. And with icons like Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley likely to slow down their schedules even more over the coming years, Grace has a real opportunity to fill one of their spots.
In the process, there is a plethora of amazing opponents and dream matches waiting for Jordynne Grace, like Bianca Belair and Asuka to name a few, on her way to becoming the #1 female performer in all of WWE.
