The theme for the season is "Lucky 13," and a sneak peek of the new characters has been shared by the show ahead of its February 12 premiere.

Ten more singers will be introduced in later episodes, which means that, like season 12, season 13 will have 15 contestants.

Ant is a red insect with two large antennae. She wears a red gingham dress, a straw hat, and red knee-high boots. Fuzzy Peas consists of three peas in a pod, with a style inspired by The Three Musketeers. Honey Pot is a bright yellow and blue container of honey with three bumblebees wearing black hats flying above it. Paparazzo has a camera for a head and wears a brown three-piece suit with a bow tie. Coral has an orange coral face with a purple body with orange accents. Blue fish swim around her.

In addition, The Masked Singer season 13 released a new trailer, shared via The Masked Singer YouTube channel. The description calls it "The Most UNHINGED Season Yet." The clip begins with Nick saying, "Welcome to lucky season 13 of The Masked Singer!" Jenny then shouts, "Oh my god," while Rita states, "I didn't think this show would get any crazier!" The words "Challenge Accepted" then flash on the screen. Several other new characters are seen, including the Loch Ness Monster, a muffin man, an alien cowboy, and a dog with sunglasses, among others.

Also seen in the clip is the previously-introduced Lucky Duck, who says, "You guys are all a bunch of quacks." Lucky Duck is a mischievous character, similar to season 5's Cluedle-Doo, who was Donnie Wahlberg. Like Cluedle-Doo, Lucky Duck isn't competing on the show but, rather, appearing to give clues about the contestants. At the end of the season, Lucky Duck's connection to one of the panelists will be revealed.

The Masked Singer season 13 also features a scene from the Ghostbusters theme night, complete with an appearance from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. The trailer ends with the panelists packed inside of an elevator along with winners Harp, Goldfish, Queen of Hearts, Medusa, and Cow. Ken jokes, "I'm having a hard time breathing," as Jenny and Rita fan him with their hands. Robin responds, "Try putting your arms above your head," to which Ken replies, "Shut up, Robin!"

After the tremendous success of The Masked Singer season 12, which had the best finale ever with winners Boyz II Men (Buffalos) competing against runner-up Mario (Wasp), it's hard to imagine that the show can get any better. However, these newest masks indicate that season 13 might surpass season 12. If the talent of the singers matches the creativity of the costumes, then this will most certainly be true.

From the amazing costumes to the introduction of Lucky Duck, The Masked Singer season 13 is sure to be as spectacular, zany, and entertaining as ever. I can't wait to see what else it has in store for its fans. The Masked Singer season 13 premiere can't come soon enough.
