What Invincible's New Trailer Reveals About Season 3, Episode 4
It's Following Up On A Story From Season 3's Premiere
The new trailer implies Mark will be running into Fightmaster and Dropkick again soon, the pair last seen in the season 3 premiere stealing the Declaration of Independence. While it's unclear why they were taking the important historical document, their dialogue implied they were time travelers, having knowledge of when the police would arrive on the scene ahead of time. The dystopian shots in the trailer imply this is their future, meaning their placement as characters in Invincible season 3 will become important quite quickly.
While it's unclear who this king-like figure is, they'll seemingly be a core threat considering the importance of an American document that involved secession from a monarchy. With Mark deciding to help, this will be his biggest solo mission since his fallout with Cecil, meaning he'll have to tread carefully about how well he can handle the situation on his own. It will also take him away from his family at a time of great uncertainty, both as he trains Oliver, and because Invincible revealed they're being watched at the end of season 3, episode 3.
