"It's A Secret, But...": Fan-Favorite Shōgun Star Coyly Teases Potential Season 2 Return
A fan-favorite Shōgun star has coyly teased their potential return in season 2 as development on the upcoming continuation of the FX series continues. Shōgun season 2 is currently in development, with the series set to continue the story of Lord Yoshii Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) after he takes on the titular role as leader of Japan. The lead actor is confirmed to be returning for the series, which will depict an original story after season 1 adapted James Clavell's 1975 novel of the same name. However, other returning stars have yet to be confirmed.
Speaking with Collider, however, Moeka Hoshi hinted that she might be coming back as Usami Fuji in Shōgun season 2. The actor revealed that she's been speaking with series co-creator Justin Marks about her future on the show, indicating a very real possibility that Fuji will return in the upcoming season.
