La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia claim Juventus are interested in Riccardo Calafiori and Teun Koopmeiners for next season and according to the pink paper, the Old Lady will discuss a contract extension for Max Allegri in the coming weeks.

The Serie A giants have just signed Carlos Alcaraz from Southampton on an initial loan deal with an option to buy, but are also planning ahead for the new season.

Gazzetta and Sky Sport claim Calafiori and Koopmeiners are on top of the Old Lady’s wishlist for 2024-25 but the newspaper also mentions Georgiy Sudakov as a potential new signing in the summer.

Calafiori, 21, has made 18 Serie A appearances with Bologna this season and has recently been praised by Italy CT Luciano Spalletti.

Koopmeiners has also impressed in Serie A this term, scoring five goals and delivering three assists in 19 league matches with Atalanta. The Dutchman has been monitored by Liverpool, and his cost is in the region of € 40m to € 45m.

As per Gazzetta, Juventus will also sit down with Allegri in the coming weeks to discuss his contract extension.

His current deal in Turin runs out in 2025 and it’s unlikely that the two parties want to start the 2024-25 campaign with a contract expiring.

It remains to be seen how much Juventus can offer their coach as it seems unrealistic that they can confirm the current €7m-a-year wages for the Livorno-born coach.

Oh No. An extension to this anti-calcio impostor. Surely 8 years of him are enough. He hasn’t won a cracker in the last 2 and half seasons. He is holding this team back from truly expressing themselves. A new manager with fresh ideas on how to play modern football is desperately needed.
