Kraft, Pepsico and Tyson move to remove synthetic food dyes

Major food company Kraft Heinz said it will remove all chemical, artificial dyes from its food products following Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s push.
…
Kraft Heinz said the removal for its products will take place over the coming two years.
“The vast majority of our products use natural or no colors, and we’ve been on a journey to reduce our use of (artificial) colors across the remainder of our portfolio,” said Pedro Navio, Kraft Heinz’s North America president.
While the current actions take place through executive action via the Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., recently filed a bill to codify those efforts into permanent federal law.
Additional companies that are beginning to remove food dyes include PepsiCo and Tyson Foods.
