Lazio are in a race against time to get the deal for Ryan Kent over the line, as problems emerge with his agent and Fenerbahce.
The agreement seemed to be in place for a deadline day signing on loan for €500,000 and an option to buy at the end of the season for a further €5m.
However, the deadline to sign new players in Italy is 19.00 GMT and time is running out fast.
Kent has signed the contracts, but Lazio cannot register the player until some issues are resolved.
According to Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia and reports in Turkey, Kent’s agent has still not finalised the details of the commission with Lazio, while an even bigger problem is between him and Fenerbahce.
It seems Kent’s representative is still owed outstanding payment from Fenerbahce and is unwilling to complete the transfer until he is paid.
The 27-year-old English winger was a product of the Liverpool youth academy and has also represented Glasgow Rangers before the free transfer to Fenerbahce in July 2023.
He made 15 appearances for the Turkish side this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
