The Virginian real estate agent became known as a smooth-talking red flag in the pods, but his overconfidence may have stemmed from his short stature. He was quick to talk about his football career as a kicker and punter to all the women in the pods, even comparing his appearance to Travis Kelce and Henry Cavill. However, he was honest about not playing in the NFL. So, what was his football career like before starring in Love Is Blind season 7?

Love Is Blind season 7's premiere was a wild ride. Hannah had a difficult time choosing between wealthy art dealer Leo Braudy and Nick in the pods, eventually settling on "Mr. Suave." Leo's initial meeting with short-lived fiancée Brittany Wisniewski ended after the pod phase, and Marissa George had a difficult time choosing between military man Bohdan Olinares and progressive Ramses Prashad. Meanwhile, Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson had a fascinating conversation about race and Alexandra “Alex” Byrd and Tim Drake Godbee had a concerning off-screen fight. Amid all the drama, there's still curiosity about Nick's football career.

Nick attended The College of William & Mary from 2013-2016, where he played football for two and a half seasons. Unfortunately, an injury forced him to miss half of his senior year season. In 2015, Nick was voted second-team NCAA All-American by the Associated Press, which he proudly advertises in his Instagram bio. According to ESPN, Nick's best field goal was 43 yards, and his longest punt was 68 yards, his most impressive career stats.

Nick claimed to play for the CFL and XFL after graduation, but the extent of his football career is unclear. There's no indication online he played for the XFL, but Nick does have a CFL profile. However, there are no stats. Additionally, he's listed as 5'10" on the website, but he claimed to be 5'11" when meeting Hannah. She was clearly unimpressed by his height and didn't realize that kickers aren't usually as burly as other football players.

While Nick originally had big dreams of playing professional football, he's made the transition to real estate in recent years. His Instagram profile is filled with funny videos to boost his business, and he hasn't slowed down since appearing on Love Is Blind season 7. "Nick and I will make sure you don’t go into the process blind, opening your eyes to what a real estate transaction should look like," followed by the eyeball's emoji.

He seemed uncomfortable when being compared to Leo in the pods because of his connection to Hannah, given his extensive wealth. Nick alluded to not making six figures when speaking with Hannah, which isn't surprising. Real estate can be very inconsistent and making a name for oneself in the industry can take time and plenty of hustle. Nick's personality lends itself well to a successful career in the housing market, but he also might continue his journey on Love Is Blind to get more business rather than find love with Hannah.

They Aren't Compatible

Hannah and Nick have endured a bumpy ride as a Love Is Blind season 7 couple. She had a difficult time choosing between him and Leo in the pods, even breaking up with him because she felt she couldn't take Nick seriously. However, after discovering that Leo's other connection was sugar baby-wannabe Brittany, she asked to speak with Nick again. Hannah's insecurities about her own body blinded her from the possibility she could be disappointed with Nick's appearance. While she claimed to be attracted to Nick, it was obvious she expected a much bigger man based on his history as a football player.

Nick shouldn't have compared himself to Travis Kelce and Henry Cavill in the pods, as it led Hannah to believe he looked different than he did. He's a good-looking guy, but his description was misleading.

Trouble in paradise emerged among the Love Is Blind season 7 cast members when Hannah got "the ick" from Nick riding a fake swan on the beach, joined by an older woman. Nick likes to have fun and goof around, and Hannah viewed his escapade through a simultaneously jealous and embarrassed eye. After speaking on camera about their sex life when Nick specifically asked her not to and writing a list of red flags, it's obvious Hannah isn't mature enough for marriage, but neither is he.

What Is Nick Up To In 2025?

After appearing on Love Is Blind, Nick might be off with the show, but he's not done with the fame he received following the season's end. Nick, like many LIB alums and reality stars in general, is using his fame to his advantage professionally. One of his most recent posts on Instagram from January 18 is a video of himself selling a product. Nick is promoting Valhalla Vitality, which is an all-natural vitamin and supplement brand. In his caption, he talks about how he wants to be consistent with his health and well-being in 2025 and wants his followers to follow suit.

Nick is also still in touch with some of his former Love Is Blind season 7 cast members. On January 5, Nick posted a series of photos at what seems to be a New Year's party. In a couple of the photos, Nick is seen hanging out with season 7 power couple Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans. Nick is clearly on good terms with them despite his terrible showing at the reunion. It seems Nick did better himself on the show and is focused on making 2025 better than the year before.

Nick is continuing his career in real estate despite the success he received from Love Is Blind. He revealed on December 4, 2024, that he sold a home to two of his friends and was happy to see them take this next step in their lives. While he has revealed any new real estate dealings in 2025, there are more to come for the Love Is Blind alum.
