Married At First Sight has failed to produce many couples who will go the distance this season, and while Emem Obot's marriage to Ikechi Ojoré fell apart, that doesn't mean she isn't getting her happily ever after with her new husband, Brandon Williams. According to the latest episode, Brandon and Emem reconnected on social media after going to grammar school together. Though they hadn't seen each other in years, they found support in one another as they were both going through tough divorces.

Emem debuted her new beau on episode 18 of Married At First Sight season 18. She was still hurting over her toxic marriage to Ikechi and already informed the experts they wanted a divorce. So when she was asked out on a date by Brandon, Emem was ready for a fresh start.

Emem and Brandon meet for Mexican food, and by the end of their date, the two are smitten. Emem introduces him to fellow cast members, and by the end of the episode, Brandon and Emem are engaged. Emem's ex-husband Ikechi seemed unbothered, but it was awkward for him when they met on camera. Since the episode was filmed, Emem and Ikechi have already said "I do," based on their Instagram bios.

Brandon tells Emem that, at the moment, he's living on his sister's couch because of his divorce. Emem seems understanding and asks him what he does for a living. Brandon is a lieutenant with the Local 3766 fire department, and he also has a real estate broker's license in the state of Indiana; he even volunteers as a coach for the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Sounds like Brandon has his stuff together, despite the whole sister's couch thing, which we hope is temporary.

On their date, Brandon tells Emem that he recently ended a 10-plus-year marriage that produced two children, who were 8 and 11 at the time of filming. While we can't know Brandon's entire relationship history, we do know he told Emem he moved very fast with his ex-wife. They'd met on her 29th birthday and were married six months later. Based on this, and us thinking Brandon is in his mid-30s, his ex-wife must be a few years older than Brandon.

Brandon explains that he felt like he was in the right car during his marriage but on the wrong street. For Brandon, even though the navigation was wrong, the destination is the same, which is building a partnership that lasts for life. Brandon warns Emem that he tends to fall fast in relationships, and since the two get engaged only a few scenes later, he isn't lying.

Brandon's Instagram handle is @ChicagoBrandon, and it's set to private. In his bio, Brandon identifies himself as a husband, so we know he and Emem tied the knot sometime after filming. Brandon then names his fire department and uses the hashtags #mentalhealthwarrior, #wyse, and #chicago.

A link in Brandon's bio directs people to Wyse Brand Clothing, a clothing and accessories line with the slogan, "Water Your Seed Everyday." It's unclear what affiliation Brandon has to the clothing line, but he also has the brand's slogan in his bio, so he is connected to it somehow. According to its website, Wyse is a clothing line with a "commitment to infuse mental health awareness into the fabric of fashion."

Because both Brandon and Emem have chosen to remain private on social media, we don't know much more about the two of them as a couple or their wedding details. There is still a reunion episode of Married At First Sight to come, so we may get more insight into them as a couple. Until then, it's nice to see that Emem still found love, even if it wasn't with Ikechi.
