More Work Needed to Clean up the Hudson River

The Hudson River should anchor hubs in everything from tourism to industry to outdoor recreation, says Chamber of Southern Saratoga County CEO Pete Bardunias, in this op-ed. But toxic, carcinogenic PCBs still pollute the waterway, making its fish inedible and requiring expensive water treatment plants. Bardunias argues that the EPA must continue federal cleanup of the river for the sake of the health and economy of the Hudson River area.
