Move Over, Groot: Marvel Is Doubling Down on Its Cute New Mascot With a Jeff the Shark Series

Move over Baby Groot, Marvel’scutest rising star is stealing the spotlight, as Jeff the Land Shark is ready to take center stage. The adorable man-eating monster has become a household name after his inclusion in Marvel Rivals, and now it's his turn to fly solo, with a brand-new series from Marvel Comics.

Jeff the Land Shark– written by Kelly Thompson, the creator of the character, and featuring art by Tokitokoro – will give fans a deeper dive into the lovable, food-obsessed, and occasionally chaotic creature’s world. It's a big milestone for the little guy, as it's his very first solo series.

Jeff’s latest adventure starts with an unfortunate accident at the Sanctum Sanctorum, where an unexpected magical blunder gives rise to a dark doppelgänger: Shadow Jeff. This shadowy version is set on wreaking havoc across the Marvel Universe, and Jeff must scramble to fix his mistake before things spiral out of control.
