My Hero Academia Stirs Spin-Off Pleas With His Best All Might Tribute Yet

My Hero Academia came to an end last year, but that hasn't stopped some fans from begging for a continuation in some form. Series creator Kohei Horikoshi fanned those flames a bit with a new drawing of All Might in his armor, as he revealed some new information on his upcoming My Hero Academia exhibition in Tokyo.

The drawing of All Might comes along with a message from Horikoshi, discussing his intentions with the exhibition, as he states he's hoping to reveal the "rawness" that goes into the serialization of a manga, and really convey the mangaka's thought processes as the story comes together. He comments on still drawing lineart by hand, even though drafts for Shonen Jump series must be digitally submitted now, ensuring that he has plenty of rough drafts to put on display for the exhibition. The exhibition is currently scheduled to begin in Tokyo on June 21, 2025, and will later move to a display in Osaka.

My Hero Academia's All Might Looks More Determined than Ever in New Art

Horikoshi's New Art Combines All Might's Two Iconic Looks

The new image of All Might depicts the hero in his damaged black and gold power armor, with part of his face exposed. Additionally, it can be seen on All Might's shoulder that his classic All Might costume is being worn under the power armor, emphasizing that no matter the way in which he's fighting, All Might is still the same great hero in the end. All Might's eyes carry heavy determination, while he still retains his manic smile. Amusingly, a rather doofy-looking sketch of Deku appears over his shoulder, seemingly unrelated to anything else in the message.

As a sample of what fans can expect to see at the My Hero Academia art exhibition, it's certainly enticing. Armored All Might made a big splash when he debuted back in manga chapter 396, bringing the depowered hero back into the fight to mix it up with his archnemesis one final time. The anime has yet to fully complete the Armored All Might battle, leaving it as a cliffhanger leading into the final season, which is due out later this year. Still, even anime-only fans have at least seen the armor at this point, ensuring that this new artwork is extremely hype for any fan.

My Hero Academia Spinoffs Are In High Demand

With My Hero Academia Having Ended, Fans Are Wanting More

Fans of the manga have already had to do without the series for months now, which has certainly led some to ask if the popular franchise could benefit from a spinoff or sequel series. Fortunately, a spinoff anime, named My Hero Academia Vigilantes after the manga it adapts, is on the way, and will help tide fans over until season 8 debuts later this year. However, there's still plenty of room for more My Hero content, such as a new manga following different characters. While there's no word yet of such a thing being in the works, the My Hero Academia franchise is certainly not going anywhere any time soon.
