Naruto Animator Reunites Sasuke's Family in Special Holiday Art, Giving the Uchiha Clan a New Start

The Uchiha family has one of the most tragic stories in the entire Naruto franchise. From fighting in a never-ending war where their siblings died daily, to being killed by one of their own, this clan has suffered greatly. Most recently, the few members of the family who are still alive went through yet another traumatic experience, with the head of the clan, Sasuke, having been absorbed by the Divine Trees.

As a gift to this iconic family, one of the Boruto anime’s talented animators, Ishikazi, shared on social media an illustration where Sarada and Sakura have reunited with Sasuke. This picture, depicting many beloved characters from the franchise as they celebrate the Holidays, was an incredible surprise that gave the Uchiha Clan a moment of peace after the many big tragedies revolving around the family.

Sasuke Comes Back Home in Heartwarming Illustration

Ishikazi Gave the Uchiha Family a Happy New Year

On December 30th, 2024, to celebrate the New Year, the beloved artist behind many of the Boruto anime episodes, Ishikazi, shared on his X account a moving illustration with fans. In the picture, several of the most popular and important characters in the franchise can be seen enjoying a party in what is assumed to be Konoha. At the center of them all, the Uchiha family stands together, smiling at the camera as if waiting for a photo to commemorate their reunion. Sarada looks ecstatic about having both her parents with her, a rare occurrence ever since she was born.

Sakura looks pleased, clearly enjoying the celebrations with her family, while Sasuke looks content, his remaining eye closed as he holds his daughter’s hand. They can all be seen wearing formal attire, with Sarada and Sakura clothed in fancy blue and pink dresses respectively. Sasuke is sporting a simple but elegant black tuxedo, according to his preference of not standing out among crowds. The piece caused many fans to celebrate the Uchiha family’s reunion, as they have not been able to enjoy their time together since the ending of the original Boruto manga series.

Konoha Is More Alive Than Ever

Ishikazi Included Many Amazing Details

While the Uchiha Family is the focus of this illustration, Ishikazi made sure to include many of the other beloved Shinobi from the Hidden Leaf as they enjoy their holidays. To the left of the Uchihas, the Uzumaki Clan can be seen gathering around the tree. Naruto and Hinata look at each other lovingly, while their children stand next to each other. As usual, Kawaki pretends to not be a part of the family. The most interesting members are Himawari and Boruto, as the former seems to encourage her older brother to give Sarada a bouquet of roses.

In the center, Mitsuki and Orochimaru can be seen enjoying their time together, implying that the former villain can enter Konoha as he pleases. One of the most powerful teams, the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, has also gathered to enjoy their holidays together. Ino prepares to take a photo of the three families together. Lastly, Kakashi can be seen pushing his dear friend Guy around in his wheelchair, both with clear smiles on their faces.

Ishikazi’s illustration was an amazing New Year’s gift for Naruto fans all around the world. Seeing the Uchiha clan share a happy moment after enduring so much pain was beyond heartwarming. It is an outstanding piece that fans will remember fondly for a long time.
