Naruto Previews Official Theme Park With First Look Ahead of Its 2026 Launch

Narutofans should be delighted, because very soon, a theme park will be opening that is modeled after the world of the shonen manga. Other interactive anime theme park exhibits, featuring series like Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan, have proved to be a hit in the past, so this Naruto park is sure to be a thrilling recreation of the Hokage's home.

The experience will be available at Parc Spirou Provence, which is located in Monteux, France. Spanning a jaw-dropping 15,000 m2 of space, the Naruto area of the theme park will be not only massive, but filled with clever nods and references to the series' recognizable village of Konoha.

According to a press release announced by Parc Spirou Provence, the park will be available for visitors to access sometime in 2026, and it is currently being designed and constructed. The company even revealed that this section of their park has been 4 years in the making, a true testament to how much thought has gone into keeping it accurate and exciting. One of the standout features of the section will be a massive roller coaster, and Parc Spirou Provence has posted a sneak peek concept art clip of the ride in action, helping watchers envision themselves on the coaster.

The gigantic coaster, which will reach speeds of 75 kilometers an hour, is named the Family Thrill Launch Coaster and was created by the company, Zamperla. The ride will coast over the Naruto section of the theme park, offering riders a bird's eye view of the village of Konoha below. Also featured on the website is another colorful piece of concept art that depicts the entire exhibit, with stone structures, buildings, and other incredible landmarks that are sure to transport theme park visitors right into Naruto's universe. This is not Parc Spirou's first collaboration, as they also recently welcomed a Smurfs partnership, but it is sure to be the coolest.

Naruto Is a Cultural Icon in France, Making It a Perfect Choice for the Park

Also in the informative press release, Parc Spirou Provence commented on the significance of choosing Naruto specifically, briefly elaborating on the long history of Naruto in France. Since 2002, Naruto has sold countless copies in France, over 30 million, to be exact. The company was inspired by the clear love for the franchise evident in France since the early 2000s, so they felt a Naruto experience would resonate with theme park visitors the most, as well as giving many of them a touching dose of nostalgia for a cultural icon they have interacted with since their childhoods.

Although there are no images of the park itself yet, since only concept art has been revealed, Naruto fans will not have to wait long for the park to be opened to the public in 2026. This Naruto park is not the only anime collaboration with a theme park that has been announced lately. Universal Studios Hollywood recently unveiled their new Universal Fan Fest Nights event that is specifically geared towards fandoms of different franchises, including two animes, Jujutsu Kaisen and One Piece. A theme park is a fantastic opportunity to interact with a beloved anime, and Parc Spirou's Narutoarea is sure to impress.
