Official Pushes Back on Marin Bike/Pedestrian Bridge Plans

The county supervisor suggested that a planned non-vehicle path on the Richmond-San Rafael bridge might be scrapped for a car lane.

Last week, Damon Connolly, a Marin County Supervisor, pushed back on existing plans to add a bike/pedestrian path to the Richmond-San Rafael bridge, suggesting that another car lane would be a better option. He cited concerns that the addition would be too expensive for the number of people who would benefit from the path.
