A24 had a good year in 2024. Three of the studio's releases made their way into the studio's top 15 releases of all time, including Civil War, Heretic, and We Live in Time. Civil War is now the studio's second-highest-grossing film of all time at the worldwide box office, making an impressive $106 million and falling behind only the Oscar-winning Everything Everywhere All At Once. The moviehad a modest release in the United States in July, but is now set to return to theaters on January 17. At the same time that it re-releases theatrically, Sing Sing is set to be released in prisons in 46 states, including New York, California, and Texas. The distribution will mark the first time that a movie has ever been released simultaneously in theaters and in prisons.
