Outdoor fun is big business in Colorado: According to a new report from Outdoor Industry Association, outdoor recreation rakes in $28 billion per year here. About $12.8 billion comes from out-of-state visitors. Residents of the 2nd Congressional District (northwest Denver suburbs, Vail, Breckenridge) spend the most on outdoor recreation, followed by the 3rd Congressional District in western Colorado.
