Popular Cozy Open-World Title Gets An Eerie Update, Bringing Halloween In February

A chilling new event arrives in the massively popular Infinity Nikki, bringing some spooky vibes to the game in the middle of February. When Version 1.3 arrives in the game, it will include an Eerie Season event, which will have Nikki going up against some supernatural spooks. The limited-time event will bring a Halloween vibe to the self-prescribed "coziest open-world game" from developers Infold Games.

Infinity Nikki's Version 1.3: Eerie Season event will launch on February 26 following scheduled maintenance and will run through March 25, announced Infold Games in a press release. Brave adventurers can venture into a brand-new dungeon full of supernatural occurrences and discover a chilling curse, beautiful new outfits, and a haunting storyline fit to be told over a campfire in the dark.

Players Can Get Their Goth On During Eerie Season

During the Eerie Season event, players will find themselves drawn into the gorgeous gothic Queen’s Palace Ruins by the sound of creepy singing emanating from within. To find out whether the castle is truly haunted, Nikki and Momo will have to face their fears and go up against a curse that may be hundreds of years old. A trailer for the event states:

Unfortunately, getting back out of the ruined castle won't be as easy as getting in, as it seems that "everyone who steps into the ruins at night disappears without a trace."
