PS Plus January 2025: Every Essential, Extra, & Premium Game Coming This Month
PlayStation Plussubscribers are in for yet another treat in January 2025. The beginning of the year kicks off with several great games for those subscribed to the PlayStation service. Those subscribed to the lowest tier, Essential, will get access to a few good games providing hours of fun. Players subscribed to the higher tiers of Extra and Premium get access to better games, including some highly acclaimed ones. These games are essentially free to play, as long as players are subscribed.
As always, the games featured on the PlayStation Plus subscription span various genres, so everyone might have something to play. Whether it's an action-packed adventure, fun indie, or blockbuster hit, there's sure to be a game that suits every taste. PS Plus games come and go monthly, so players should take advantage of January's lineup while it lasts.
Every Game Coming To PlayStation Plus In January
From Suicide Squad To Indiana Jones, Here's January's PS Plus Lineup
Players currently subscribed to PS Plus have already been delighted to receive a few popular titles (via PlayStation Blog): Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. Unfortunately, to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players will need a PS5. Thankfully, The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe is playable on both consoles, and the PS5's backward compatibility makes Hot Pursuit Remastered playable on both as well. With just these games, Essential subscribers and those subscribed to the higher tiers already have access to incredible gaming experiences to kick off January 2025.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League can be enjoyed in solo and multiplayer sessions, but its live-service support is ending after its fourth in-game season. It's a third-person open-world shooter set in Metropolis, where players take on the Brainiac-controlled Justice League. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is a high-performance racing video game, packed with thrilling chases and customizable cars. Then there's The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, an indie adventure and exploration game that reimagines the original Stanley Parable with new content, choices, secrets, and plenty of achievements.

PS Plus Subscribers Are Getting A Major PlayStation Exclusive
Enjoy The Continuation Of Kratos And Atreus' Story
As noted above, PS Plus subscribers are also getting a major PlayStation-exclusive release. God of War Ragnarök will hit the PS Plus catalog for both PS4 and PS5 users starting January 21. The game has received positive reviews from both critics and fans alike and is a sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War soft reboot released in 2018. The game continues the story of Kratos and Atreus as they travel through the Nine Realms. It's a fantastic story that blends intense action with emotional depth. God of War Ragnarök is a must-play for those subscribed to at least the Extra PS Plus tier.
The January 2025 game catalog is packed with fun and engaging titles. No matter what tier you're subscribed to, you'll get endless hours of entertainment with the games at your disposal. Just make sure to claim and play your favorites from the PS Plus catalog before they disappear.
