Microchip Technology announced that registration is now open for the 16th annual India MASTERs Conference, the premier technical training event for embedded control engineers. The conference will take place from December 3–6, 2019 in Bangalore, offering a diverse set of classes, hands-on training and networking opportunities with experts.

With classes available for all levels of experience, MASTERs provide engineers with a forum for sharing and exchanging technical information on Microchip’s large portfolio of product solutions while serving as a design resource for product applications. This year’s conference features 49 classes that cover a broad range of topics, including Microchip’s latest product introductions, connectivity sessions on Ethernet switches, fundamentals of USB Type-C™ and power delivery, CAN FD/LIN, wireless solutions on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LoRaWAN, IoT applications, motor control, touch and gesture sensing solutions and power management solutions, as well as MPLAB development ecosystem. The conference will also feature new classes on Microchip’s PolarFire® FPGAs and Power over Ethernet (PoE) solutions. Among the classes offered, 22 are hands-on workshops that enable attendees to learn more about specific applications by using development tools and writing code in the classrooms.

“Attendees at MASTERs will leave knowing how to use smart, connected and secure semiconductors and services to develop new, differentiated products that will enable innovation across different markets,” said Ramesh Babu, Microchip’s regional manager in India. “Engineers will work with conference attendees to provide the best possible learning experience, resulting in reduced design cycle times to further accelerate the process of bringing your products to market.”

Additional activities during the MASTERs conference include networking sessions with Microchip engineers, partners and attendees to discuss relevant design topics as well as meetings with third-party development tool experts. The “Ask The Experts” program allows attendees to ask Microchip engineers questions about design and development relating to all Microchip’s products. The “Third Party Bazaar” also showcases development tools that help decrease development time when using Microchip products.

Registration & Pricing Information

Entry to the MASTERs Conference, including all class materials and meals, is priced at Rs.10,000. Academic or training partners, design house engineers and distribution field applications engineers will be given a 25% discount. Attendees will also receive a Microchip backpack, MPLAB Snap In-Circuit Debugger (PG164100) and USB with class materials for free. The final registration deadline to enroll in the conference is November 19. Full details on all aspects of the MASTERs Conference can be found at http://www.microchip.com/im.
