Doctor Doom is surrounded by Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes in a concept poster that shows how much potential Avengers: Doomsday has. Robert Downey Jr.'s casting as Victor von Doom was one of the most shocking events in MCU history. The star of Marvel Studios' Avengers franchise will be at the forefront of the superhero team's next two movies. Avengers: Doomsday is expected to be the project that features RDJ's debut as Doctor Doom. Aside from that and a few revealed additions to the cast of the next Avengers movie, most of the heroes in the film are still a secret.
On Instagram, artist @yugraphics00 shared an Avengers: Doomsday concept poster that assembles the MCU's new Avengers team.
The fan poster centers on Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom. The actor's version of the Marvel villain looks incredibly comic book-accurate, be it in Doctor Doom's full costume or just a regular green suit. The poster also unites some of the MCU's biggest heroes and recent additions to the franchise. Characters like Tom Holland's Spider-Man, Brie Larson's Captain Marvel, and Charlie Cox's Daredevil are expected to play a role in Avengers: Doomsday's story. However, two included characters will not be in the film.

The MCU Needs A New Avengers Team
The fan poster puts together an impressive lineup for the next Avengers movie. So far, it has been confirmed that the MCU's Fantastic Four will be in the film, as could be familiar X-Men characters, according to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. However, Avengers: Doomsday was recently revealed to no longer feature a major hero who had been confirmed for the project. In a new interview, Benedict Cumberbatch claimed Doctor Strange is not in Avengers: Doomsday. He also teased that Doctor Strange 3 is happening.
As such, it stands to reason that Doctor Strange will return in his next solo film, which could be released between the upcoming Avengers movies before appearing in Avengers: Secret Wars. Due to that, Charlize Theron's Clea, who was last seen with Doctor Strange, should not appear in Avengers: Doomsday, making them two characters from the poster who will not be in the film. However, all the other included heroes have a chance of appearing, as Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch, Tom Holland's Spider-Man, and more are fan favorites. Agents of SHIELD's Ghost Rider should be hard, though.

Marvel Has Many Exciting Heroes Ready For The Avengers
The Avengers: Doomsday poster presents the kind of superhero team that I hope to see in the anticipated movie. There are veteran MCU heroes, such as Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch, original MCU Avengers, like Hawkeye and Thor, and Netflix characters, such as Daredevil and the Punisher. I want Avengers: Doomsday to unite the best the MCU has to offer, with Avengers: Secret Wars then focusing on multiverse characters, who could also appear in Avengers: Doomsday, as long as they do not overshadow the MCU's heroes. With Doctor Doom as the villain, several MCU heroes will unite in Avengers: Doomsday.
